Szlachetna Paczka* (Noble Gift)
It’s become our team tradition. Each December we all share the same goal – to help one family struggling with poverty to put their problems aside and enjoy Christmas time.
*Szlachetna Paczka is one of the largest charity initiatives in Poland, providing personalized aid (food, clothes, etc.) to individual families in need.
IRONMAN World Championship
Ewa Susmarska is a young, ambitious sportswoman who is valiantly fighting to make her dreams come true. One of them was to compete in the almost legendary Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. We are happy to have had the pleasure of supporting Ewa in this event and we keep our fingers crossed that she will achieve even more.
Ukraine
All of us are now with Ukraine in our thoughts and heart. We have organized a charity collection to collect the funds needed to start a new life for our new friend from Ukraine. In the meantime, despite the problem with availability of many products, we managed to organize the most necessary items for soldiers in Ukraine, such as: generators, walkie-talkies, sleeping bags, first aid kit, headlamps, and lyophilized food
Poland Business Run 2022
Helping is fun! For the fourth time, we took part in the annual Poland Business Run, and this year's team consisted as many as 1/4 of our company. We are very happy to have been able to help and are gathering strength to take part in the run next year as well.
A small effort goes a long way
In 2019 we collected 5.424 cans to support the “Puszka Maluszka” (“Little one’s can”) initiative of Redemptoris Missio, aimed at helping malnourished children in Africa.
Small changes in our daily habits can help others and have a positive impact on our environment. That’s why we also collect bottle caps to raise money for children who need expensive assistive devices.
Animal lovers
We love animals.
That’s why everyone on our team can bring their pet to the office. We’re also happy to support animals in need. We collect dog and cat food, blankets and towels for local shelters and do whatever we can to help.
Chance for life
More than 25% of our employees registered as bone marrow donors during the celebration of the National Marrow Donor Day at Fabres.
If we add the team members who had already been registered as donors, we end up with 35% of Fabres employees ready to save other people’s lives!
